Balinese ceremony for wishing a safe trip at the Beach of Semawang, Sanur

For this trip we needed all the help we could get  mentally spiritually . Off we know,  no body approached an event like this or we couldn't get any reference from an event snorkeling around Bali.

Ceremony was planed for the 28th of February but it was not possible for the day.

In the evening of full moon day 3rd March 2007  Gochi, 9 years old who is going to accompany for snorkeling around Bali was blessed by the priest after process of several ritual during the  ceremony to wish safe journey .

Just 9 years old, he had guts to decide to accompany  because he felt sorry nobody wanted/could join the event. This journey very historic as nobody have ever approached to circum navigate Bali by snorkeling also  this was a awareness campaign for the environment of  our planet, our Bali and Indonesia.

His family members and friends are worried though he have made his promise and has to keep"  was his words  whatever it takes he has decided to accompany...

SD Saraswati 6, his class teacher (Ibu Guru Citra Yani) made conclusion after long discussions for making  promotion exam to next grade earlier than normal schedule for him to be able to do this journey.

Ceremony went very smooth I was not able to participate as I was busy with logistic of the trip and running behind people to get a under water camera and video document.
